Keep the classics alive in the North of Scotland
The Classics Lottery funds free public lectures, online talks and school visits that bring the ancient world to Aberdeen, the Highlands and the Islands. One pound a month, one entry, one monthly draw.
18+ only. Please play responsibly.
Where your pound goes
Every entry supports classics education
Public talks
Lectures by visiting scholars on the University of Aberdeen's King's College campus, free and open to everyone.
Online lectures
Talks streamed online, so people across the Highlands, Moray, Orkney and Shetland can take part without travelling.
Schools outreach
Events in local schools that introduce pupils to Latin, Greek, ancient history and classical civilisation.
At least half of all ticket money goes straight to the charity. Running costs are capped at 10%.
